According to a news release issued by the National Bureau of Statistics on December 13, the value added of industrial enterprises above designated size actually increased by 10.0% year-on-year in November. (The following growth rates are actual growth rates after deducting price factors), compared with October. Declined by 0.3%; from the month-on-month, November increased by 0.76% from the previous month. From January to November, the added value of industries above designated size increased by 9.7% year-on-year. Among them, in November, the textile industry increased by 8.2%.
In terms of economic types, in November, the added value of state-owned and state-controlled enterprises increased by 9.1% year-on-year, that of collective enterprises increased by 2.4%, that of joint-stock companies by 11.1%, and that of foreign-invested companies and Hong Kong, Malay, and Taiwanese companies by 9.5%.
From a regional perspective, in November, the value added in the eastern region increased by 9.2% year-on-year, in the central region by 11.6%, and in the western region by 10.0%.
In terms of sub-sectors, in November, the value added of 39 industries in 41 major industries maintained a year-on-year growth. Among them, the textile industry increased by 8.2%, the chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry increased by 12.4%, and the electricity and heat production and supply industries increased by 6.1%.
In November, the sales rate of industrial enterprises was 97.6%, which was a decrease of 0.4 percentage point from the same period of last year. The export value of industrial enterprises achieved 1.0383 billion yuan, a nominal increase of 5.8% over the same period of last year.
