2011/12 Ukrainian processing of 760,000 tons more than 90% have been sold

In 2010/11 Uzbekistan has processed 760,000 tons of ginned cotton, and 730,000 tons have been sold. According to industry estimates, about 432,000 tons of cotton have been exported in 2011/12, most of which was cotton signed at the Tashkent meeting last October. Less than 100,000 tons are purchased by domestic textile mills.

At present, the processing volume of domestic cotton has dropped drastically, and the daily processing volume is less than 3,000 tons. About a quarter of the ginners have stopped processing cotton.
